Leadership is important in BB

Have you hope to be a well diciplined person? Or a well mannered and well being person? Of course we do.. The uniform body which help developing these kind of people, people with diciplines.. To me is the oldest organization in the world .. The Boys' Brigade.. Its been a few years since i joined BB. Indeed, for the few years in BB i learned a lot of things . Well, most of them are good things. U know, things that help us think the positive way. When I first joined BB, I could feel the leadership of the senior members. Indeed, their leadership are very good. Newly joined members will follow wat their seniors do (sometimes)> However, BB isn't just about dicipline and leadership. It teaches us about God love, and the bible.. A persons personality could be formed by the teachings of God.. A few months ago, I went for the 17th Pesta in Kuala Lumpur. The moment i stepped in the registration hall, I feel the closeness of all the BB members especially at the International Night. All of the BBM members gather together singing praises to God and also talking to each other about themselves and also about BB..(Number of Badges and Rank) The Pesta was indeed a great success as it help promotes leadership and dicipline. Some people think that Pesta is all fun and no work. No no.. As far as I know there is certain time to play and certain time to be diciplined (Drill). In BB, there is no playing the everytime nor having Drill everytime. For example, during the BB pesta, in Sunway Lagoon beach party, everyone really had fun but, when it comes to drill competition it is time to get serious. Seeing and interacting with other companies is good. U can learn about their way of handling their companies and their members. The Staff Seargent from 10th Kuala Lumpur Company, Mark Tan, who was giving commands for the Pesta opening really showed good leadership and showed a great interest in BB.. That is why, although 10th KL wasn't formed a long time ago, yet, it grewed into a very active company.. Talented boys and girls.. Therefore, lets not forget to show the new members a good example and be a great help to the Boys' Brigade and also to the officers. Be a loyal servant of the God.. And I hope that for next year, all the companies in Malaysia will had a great year and also a successful recruitment session.. Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!! God Bless!
